just issue the turn off command, than conf t and go to line con 0 to change the password. The new password will show up without encryption.

how 2 disable the service password-encryption ?
if I turn it off then nothing happens still the password is encrypted

I m using Packet Tracer 5.2 and I have a 2811 Router with IOS Version 12.4. My problem is that when I use “service password-encryption” command and exit from enable and re-enter in enable, it would’nt allow me to login using my password. Any comments, solutions.
