If you are chatting with someone and you want to read something off a window and not switch between windows then why not enable transparency. It looks cools and is very useful at times.
To make windows transparent/translucent all you need to do is...
1. Open Trillian
2. Open the window that you want to make transparent (it will apply transparency to this window only)
3. Right click
4. Hover the mouse pointer over Advanced Options
5. Then hover over "Transparency"
6. Select the level of transparency you want
Now, you can see what's in the background and chat all at the same time!
