For thoose of you who want to put a message in your profile that only your friends can see ,or want to type to someone without worring about anyone reading over your shoulder there is a way.

This is a very simple recipe to preform all you need is AIM and a brain.

The first thing you do is select the smiley face you want to conceal ( Ctrl 1-8 , Shift Cntrl 1-8).

Then highlight the smiley face and Hit Control L.

A window will pop up saying 'Hyperlink URL' and a place for you to type. From here you can put a URL (intentional use) or type a sentence or two. If you type too long of a message it won't be able to fit it all ,so break it up into multiple faces.

Once your done with your message hit OK and a window might come up if you used a 'illegal characters' in your message that says something like:

This URL contains a space or any of theese, a character which should be encoded ,or one of the following characters that is not permitted in a URL: < > [ ] { } | / ^ ` Do you want to keep the URL anyways?.

Just click OK and your finished.

You wont be able to see the message until you send your mesage or finished on your profile.
